Simon Wickstead was born in Kingston-Upon-Thames, England in 1967.

After graduating from art school in 1986, Simon became a designer and illustrator, working as a freelancer before joining a multi-national engineering company. Whilst an employee, Simon helped to develop a 3D computer modelling program, later demonstrating it and training users around the world.

Simon made a career move to the rapidly developing new media sector as a web designer in the early nineties.

Simon was offered a key position with a City firm designing and implementing intranet and internet solutions for employees and clients of a large financial institution.

Simon studied photojournalism at the London College of Printing and is currently working with a wide range of clients in all areas of printed media.
